Professor Liu Pengkai

刘彭恺，教授，硕士研究生导师，外国语学院副院长，澳大利亚西悉尼大学访问学者。陕西省高等教育教材、中小学教材建设专家库成员。主要研究领域为英语教育、翻译。近年来先后在Frontiers in Psychology，《外语教学》《学术界》和《贵州民族研究》等核心期刊发表各类学术论文20余篇，发表学术专著2部，主编教材7部，主持陕西省社会科学基金项目、陕西省科技厅软科学项目、校级教改课题若干部。曾获“第11届全国多媒体课件大赛三等奖”“校级优秀教师”“校级师德先进个人”等荣誉。两次指导研究生获得西北地区暨陕西省研究生英语演讲比赛三等奖，多次指导学生获得外研社各项赛事奖项。

Liu Pengkai is Professor, Supervisor for MTI Program Candidates, Deputy Dean of the School of Foreign Languages, Northwest University of Political Science and Law (Xi’an). Professor Liu is a visiting scholar at Western Sydney University of Australia. She serves as member of the Expert Pool on Textbooks Development for Primary, Second and Tertiary Education in Shaanxi Province. Her main research areas are English education and translation. In recent years, she has published more than 20 academic papers in core Chinese and international journals such as Frontiers in Psychology, Foreign Language Teaching, and Academics, published 2 academic monographs, edited 7 textbooks, and presided over several important projects such as the Shaanxi Provincial Social Science Fund, and university-level teaching reform programs. Professor Liu has received honors such as the Third Prize in the 11th National Multimedia Courseware Competition, University Excellent Teacher, and University Advanced Individual in Teacher Ethics. She was awarded the title of Excellent Teacher for guiding students’ participation in the English Speech Competition, and other contests at the national, regional, provincial and university levels.
