Associate Professor Liu Hongling

刘红岭，副教授，硕士研究生导师。主要研究领域为英美文学、文学教学、翻译。代表作有：“村上春树早期短篇小说人物塑造中的禅境探析”“评析《巨流河》中的知识分子”“从禅宗美学视域解读村上短篇小说中的虚实手法”，译作《葛拉西安智慧箴言》。主编参编教材4部。主持、参与省级、校级及横向科研项目5项。

Liu Hongling is Associate Professor and Master’s Supervisor at the School of Foreign Language, Northwest University of Political Science and Law (Xi’an). Her primary research fields include British and American literature, literature teaching, and translation studies. Professor Liu’s representative publications include “An Analysis of the Zen Conception in Character Portrayal of Haruki Murakami’s Early Short Stories”, “An Evaluation of the Intellectuals in The Great Flowing River: A Memoir of China, from Manchuria to Taiwan”, and “An Interpretation of the Factual and Fictional Techniques in Haruki Murakami’s Short Stories from the Perspective of Zen Aesthetics”, and The Art of Worldly Wisdom (translated book). In addition, she has authored or co-authored 4 textbooks, and presided over or participated in 5 provincial, university-level and horizontal scientific research projects.
